AFC STOCKPORT – SEPTEMBER 2026 REVIEW September marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for AFC Stockport as the First Team made their debut in the Lancashire & Cheshire Amateur Football League Premier Division. The Red Army kicked things off with an entertaining 3-3 draw away to Oldham Hulmeians before producing an outstanding performance to secure a convincing 3-0 victory away at AFC Urmston Meadowside Redstar. The month ended with a historic first home league fixture at Laurus Ryecroft, where Stockport battled back to earn a hard-fought 1-1 draw against fellow early contenders AR Elite…although it felt like two points dropped. Three league matches, seven goals scored, five points collected and, most importantly, an unbeaten start! A fantastic foundation for the season ahead as AFC Stockport look to establish themselves among the Premier Division’s best. THE PRIDE OF STOCKPORT!⚽ #AFCStockport #RedArmy
